Situated 7 kilometers from the town of Almora, Himkosi is the perfect getaway abode to ditch the concrete jungles & leave behind the roaring city chaos.
For the rebranding project, the client seeked a comprehensive branding package that includes a logo with a minimalistic approach focusing on one or two key elements that capture the brand essence, creating a clean, modern, and versatile design suitable for various media.
RESULT
The new logo for Himkosi reflects a modern and refined approach compared to the previous version as well as successfully addresses the issues of the previous branding by adopting a minimalistic, focused, and modern design approach. The brown and beige color palette reinforces the brand’s connection to nature, while the streamlined elements and modern typography provide a clean, professional, and memorable brand identity.






Color & typography
The new logo uses a monochromatic color scheme of brown and beige. This shift to earthy tones aligns with the brand’s identity, conveying a sense of naturalness, warmth, and sustainability. The contrast between the deep brown background and beige lines creates a sophisticated and calming visual effect.The typography is clean matching the minimal design language of the logo. It provides a modern and elegant feel that complements the overall aesthetic. The typeface is bold yet refined, adding a sense of stability and trustworthiness.

Versatility and Scalability
Due to its simplified form and limited color palette, the new logo is highly versatile and scalable. It can be easily used across various media, from digital platforms to print materials, and will retain its clarity and impact at any size.This subtle framing technique gives the impression of harmony and wholeness, which can resonate well with a brand that focuses on natural and sustainable products.



Previous Logo & Branding:
Logo: The previous logo had various elements (mountain, river, leaves, trees), making it visually complex diluting the primary focus of the brand.
Colors: The logo uses multiple colors creating a somewhat outdated design reducing it's versatility and scalability across plaforms.
Typography: The bold, black text is quite standard and doesn’t add much personality or uniqueness to the brand.

The new logo design is significantly simpler, featuring just a few lines that outline a mountain range and a river within a circular shape. This minimalistic approach is clean and modern, making it easier to recognize and remember. The logo effectively emphasizes the natural landscape with stylized mountain and river lines.
